Call for Abstracts
Abstracts are invited from individuals or groups involved
in HIV or related diseases research in Botswana. An abstract should
be assigned by the presenter at the time of submission into one
of the following 5 tracks:
- Track One: Basic science, vaccine
and vaginal microbicide research
- Track Two: Policy, society and
HIV/AIDS
- Track three: Community care
and support; role of PLWA (persons living with HIV/AIDS)
- Track four: Approaches to HIV
prevention
- Track five: Clinical and therapeutic approaches
Abstract Submission Guidelines
The abstract should include a title (not to exceed
75 characters), name of the author(s), institution of affiliation,
and a statement summarizing the work being presented (not to exceed
300 words). The abstract are expected be in any one of the two formats.
Format A
- Background and/Rationale
- Methods or Experimental Approaches
- Results (including statistical analysis wherever
required)
- Conclusions/Summary
- Key words

- Issues
- Description
- Lessons Learned
- Recommendations
- Presenting

Abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of local and
international reviewers
Abstracts should be mailed or submitted to the conference
